A big part of what I do is ideation. From banners to one-off microsties to full on campaigns, it has always been an integral part of my process as an art director. Not only can you put more ideas on the table, but you can also make your client feel more involved in the process (and not waste time worrying about the design aesthetic until they buy in). A brainstorm happens with copywriters, designers and flash developers, and we often come up some amazing fun ideas. But as always, many of them get left on the cutting board, so this is a tiny sampling of some banner ideation that didn't make the cut.
